This is because the supply chain mechanism of Hydrogen fuel is yet to evolve to the proportions that petroleum has evolved. The current system is highly in favor of fossil fuel-based transportation technologies. But all of this is expected to change when greater emphasis is going to be given to greener alternatives by governments internationally to tackle climate change.
